The Paintshed is owned and run by Nick Bancroft, a highly experienced narrowboat painter, with an established reputation for excellence. Nick's expert craftsmanship in painting and servicing narrowboats has seen his skills demanded across the waterways in the UK, and abroad.

In January 2010 Nick took over the Paintshed, a purpose built workshop and a permanent base to offer a complete programme of paintwork for your narrowboat. Through partner company NB Marine Services, a full range of services including marine engineering, interior refits and Certificates of Compliance are available at the Paintshed, based at Uplands Marina, less than 5 minutes away from the famous Anderton Boat Lift. The highest standards of care and attention are given to ensure a quality finish to your cherished narrowboat, as testified by many a delighted customer.
